The P2441 code indicates that the secondary air injection system switching valve for Bank 1 is stuck in the closed position. This valve is supposed to open during cold engine starts to allow the air pump to push fresh air into the exhaust manifold, helping the catalytic converter reach operating temperature faster. When stuck closed, no air reaches the exhaust during cold start.

The most noticeable effect is that your engine takes longer to warm up and runs rougher during the warm-up period. Cold-start emissions are significantly higher than normal because the catalytic converter is not getting the extra air it needs to light off quickly.
