1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Crew Chief ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Crew Chief is a vehicle management platform that allows users to track vehicles, decode VINs, look up OBD2 diagnostic codes, and manage vehicle-related information. The Service includes a web application and browser extension.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Crew Chief offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Vehicle Data and Diagnostics

The diagnostic information, VIN data, and OBD2 code interpretations provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection or advice. Crew Chief is not responsible for any actions taken based on information provided by the Service. Always consult a qualified mechanic for vehicle repairs.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Crew Chief and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crew Chief shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
